The Holy Order of the Sisters of the Eternal Purgatory of Goaltending

In Czech, hockey is not a sport, it is a religion. Whether it is NHL, IHWC, Olympic, local or otherwise hockey is the ticket. It is far more popular than that kickball sport the Germans and the British play. They are pretty good at hockey, Czech teams are regularly in the top two or three in the Olympics, World Championship and the hotly contested local pro league is no slouch. No matter what you are talking about, if you are talking hockey, you can find a friend in Czech. Well, that is not true. After this year’s national catastrophe, it is hard to be an American after the Czech team knocked the puck into the goal themselves. I have one to thing to say about that, “Play hard or go home!” The Czech team is a better team, but overconfidence will kill you every time.
